A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH CHANGING THE STREET NAMES OF
"OAKMONT" TO "MONTGOMERY" AND "SHEFFIELD" TO
"PALAZZO" IN THE BONITA CREEK PLANNED COMMUNITY
DISTRICT, FINAL TRACT MAP OF TRACT NO. 15517
WHEREAS, Section 19.20.050 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code requires street names
to be approved by the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, after consideration it would be in the best interest of the City of Newport Beach
and convenient to the public to change the street name "Oakmont" to "Montgomery" and "Sheffield"
to 'Palazzo' in the Bonita Canyon Planned Community District, as hereafter set forth;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the City
of Newport Beach does hereby approve that the street name "Oakmont" within the City of Newport
Beach, as shown on the map marked Exhibit "A," a copy of which is attached, and by reference is
incorporated herein and made a part herein, be changed to "Montgomery," and that the street name
"Sheffield" within the City of Newport Beach, also as shown on the map marked Exhibit "A," be
changed to 'Palazzo."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed to forward a copy of this
Resolution to the Board of Supervisors of Orange County, in provisions of Section 34092 of the
Government Code.
ADOPTED this 24th day of September 1998, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES Fuller, Ridgeway, Ashley, Selich, Gifford
Adams and Kranzley
