A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH RECOMMENDING APPROVAL
TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE
PLANNED COMMUNITY DISTRICT REGULATIONS AND
DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE AERONUTRONIC FORD
PLANNED COMMUNITY (ZONING AMENDMENT NO. 848)
WHEREAS, as part of the development and implementation of the Newport Beach
General Plan the Land Use Element has been prepared; and
WHEREAS, the Newport Beach Municipal Code provides specific procedures for
the implementation of Planned Community zoning for properties within the City of Newport
Beach;and
WHEREAS, the proposed Planned Community District Regulations are consistent
with the Newport Beach General Plan; and
WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report has been previously certified for the
project consistent with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the State CEQA
Guidelines, and the information contained therein is considered adequate for the proposed
amendments to this Planned Community Text.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the
City of Newport Beach does hereby recommend to the City Council an amendment to the
Aeronutronic Ford Planned Community District Regulations and Development Plan as attached
hereon as Exhibit 1.
