SUBJECT: EASEMENT TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY FOR ELECTRICAL FACILITIES
AT THE CITY CORPORATION YARD
RECOMMENDATION:
ADOPT A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR ANO CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
A GRANT OF EASEMENT TO THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY FOR
ELECTRICAL FACILITIES AT THE. CITY CORPORATION YAR06
DISCUSSION:
THIS EASEMENT WILL ALLOW THE EDISON COMPANY TO OELIVER ELECTRICAL POWER TO
THE SOUTHEASTERLY AREAS OF THE CORPORATION YARD. A NEW SUPPLY LINE IS REQUIRED
SINCE THE PRESENT POINT OF SUPPLY FROM SUPERIOR AVENUE IS OVERLOADED AND ANY AOOIT10NAL
LOAD FROM IT WOLILO DECREASE THE EFFICIENCY OF THE PRESENT SYSTEM.
THE PROPOSEO'LINE WILL SERVE THE NEW STEEL BUILDING ADDITION AND WILL HAVE
RESERVE CAPACITY FOR FUTURE EXPANSION*
THE PROPOSED LINE WILL BE INSTALLED AT AN APPROXIMATE COST TO THE CITY OF
