On July 27, 1964 the Newport Beach City Council considered a revision of the
encroachment of the Caribe Balboa Apartments. It was set aside for further
investigation by Councilman Elder.
This new submittal is the result of a discussion at the job site with Councilman
Elder and City Manager Mr. Coop.
The accompanying drawings show the areas and give the height that can.be
maintained.
The plumbing will be rerouted and raised as high as practically possible.
The height of the soffitted ceiling will be held as high as practical and at no
point will this height be less than 1013r' above the lot surface., or walkway.
Great Western Savings requests the City of Newport Beach to consider this revision
and give their permission for the establishment of this suspended ceiling, or
soffitted area.
