ORDINANCE NO. 1161
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH REZONING
PROPERTY AND AMENDING DISTRICT MAP NO. 16
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does ordain
-9 as follows:
SECTION 1. The following described real property in the
City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, des-
cribed as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the southerly line of
Dahlia Avenue (formerly 31st Avenue) as shown on the
map of Corona del Mar Tract as recorded in Book 3, pages
41 and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the
County Recorder of Orange County, California, with'the
northeasterly line of that portion of the 14 foot alley
adjoining Block D of Tract 323 as per the map recorded
in Book 14, pages 40 and 41 of Miscellaneous Maps;
thence south 39° 38` west 36.00 feet along said south-
easterly line; thence south 50° 22' east 116.30 feet;
thence north 17° 30° 56" west 66.37 feet to a point on
the northeasterly line of said 14 foot alley, said point
being the most westerly corner of Lot 3, Block D of Tract
323; thence north 50° 22° west 60.54 feet along said
northeasterly line to the point of beginning,
and as shown on District Map No. 16 referred to in Section 9102.2
of the Newport Beach Municipal Code and made a part of Article IX
of said Code, be, and the same is, hereby rezoned from an R -2 District
to a C -1 District, and said Map No. 16 is hereby amended to show this
zoning change.
SECTION 2. The Planning Director of the City of Newport
Beach is hereby instructed and directed to change District Map No.
16 so as to show the zoning change described in Section 1 hereof,
and, as said District Map shall have been so amended, the same
.shall remain in full force and effect and be a part of Article IX
of the Newport Beach Municipal Code.
SECTION 3. This'ordinance shall be published once in the
official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be effective 30
days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the 25th day of
April 1966, and was adopted on the 9th day of
