AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF .NEWPORT BEACH
REZONING PROPERTY AND AMENDING DISTRICT MAP
NO. 10
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. The following described real property in
the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California,
to wit:
Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 and the easterly 5 feet of
the 10 foot alley, vacated by Resolution 29, adjacent to and
westerly of Lots 9 and 15, Block 3, of the East Newport
Tract, located on the south side of West Bay Avenue between
Island Avenue and 6th Street,
as shown on District Map No. 10, referred to in Section 20.06.030
of the Newport Beach Municipal Code, and by such reference made a
part of Title 20 of said Code, is hereby rezoned from a C -1
District to an R -3 District, and a front yard setback of 4 feet
along the southerly side of West Bay Avenue is hereby established,
and said District Map No. 10 is hereby amended to show this
zoning change.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published once in
the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be effec-
tive 30 days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the 12th

day of July 1 1971, and was adopted on the 26th day of
• July 1971, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: McInnis, Rogers,

NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT COUNCILMEN:— Kymla
