ORDINANCE NO. 1820
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMENDING SECTION 2.04.020 OF THE NEWPORT
BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE THE TIME OF
THE EVENING COUNCIL MEETING TO 7:30 P.M.
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach DOES
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 2.04.020 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code is amended to read:
"2.04.020 Time of Meetings. The City Council shall
hold its regular meetings on the second and fourth Mondays
in each month at the hour of seven - thirty p.m.
In addition to such regular meetings, the City Council
shall convene for the purpose of hearing reports from the
staff and reviewing, discussing and debating matters of
interest to the City at the hour of two P.M. on the second
and fourth Mondays in each month."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published once in
the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be effec-
tive thirty (30) days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at an- adjourned regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on
the 28th day of August, 1979, and was adopted on the
10th
day of September , 1979, by the following vote,
to wit:
