Ordinance No. 95 -46
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING CHAPTER
10.50 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 94 -50 to address various
nuisances within the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has observed and has received complaints relating to
the use of materials other than glass to replace or cover window panes; and
WHEREAS, such practice creates adverse impacts on the aesthetic quality of
property, giving the appearance of blighted conditions and a deteriorated environment.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council does ordain as follows:
Section 1.
Section 10.50.020 E of the Municipal Code which defines unsafe or unsightly premises
maintenance is amended by the addition of the following paragraph:
(4) The use of materials other than glass as a replacement or covering of
window panes.
Section 2.
This Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach held on the 11th
