City of Newport Beech, as the legislative branch

m 17 mands the acquisition by the city of New-ort Beech of all that

18 certain real property located in said city, County of Orange,
19 State of California, particularly described as:-
20 Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11,
21 12, 13, in 3lock 13, of "Section B -
P ?ecrport Be ?ch ", as shown on a map recorded
in Boost 4, pale 27, of Liscellareous gaps,
22 records of Orange County, California, the
23 same being the South one -half of said Block
13,
24 together with the buildin? no :%, constructed and standing thereon,
25 as a City Hall for municipal uses.
26 Section 2.
27 The described real property and the building t'.:cracn
�28 constructed is necessary and convenient to carry cut the o')jects,

30 furnish and provide said city with a sufficient and adequate

Section 3.
Tho cost of the acquisition of t_:e described municipal
improvement is estimated to be $50,000.00 and which sun is and
trill be too greet to be paid out of the cr::inar,• annual income
and revenue of the city of Newport Beach.
Se•ctior. 4.
The public interest arl also the oublic necessity de-
mands the submission to the qualified voters of the city of "etianort
Beach of the propositior of incurring a bonded debt for t' pi:rpe e
set fort'- in this Resolution, and t?&at the bonds of the city of
Newport Beach be issued and sold and the described nnmicipal im -
provement accuired ":ith the money raised thereby.
Section. 5.
All proceadir s herein shall be had, and taken under and
pursuant to ar. Act of the Legislature of the State cf California,
entitled: "A.Z,a t authorizin; the incurrin- c` :- debtedr.ess by
cities, towns, and municipal coroorations, for municipal _r..orove-
monts, and reb,:lating the acquisit' or., constructior, or ccr. ^.pletion
thereof" which became a law without the governor's aporoval Feb-
ruary 25, 1901, and all acts that are amendatory thereof.
The abovaand foregoing Resolution No.l wa =_ re-
gularly introduced before the Board of Trustees of the city of
Newport Beach, as the legislative branch thereof, at a rerular
moetin; held or the 26th day of June, 1922, and passed by the
affirmative vote of the following named members of said Board of
Trustees:
