Resolution 'Io. 205
A Resolution amending Section 4 of Resolution
No. 203 of the city of Newport Beach.
The Boar.-I of Trustees of the city of Newport Beach do
resolve and determine as follows:-
Section 1. Section 4 of Resolution No. 203
is hereby amended so as to read as follows:-
Section 4. The Clerk of the city of Newport Beac2
shall immediately advertise 35 of said bonds aggregating $.'.5,000.00
for sale by publishing a notice inviting sealed bids therefor in
NEWPORT NEWS, a newspaper of general circulation printed, published
and circulated in the city of itewport Beach for two weeks next pre-
ceding the date on which bids are to be received; said date to be
fixed by the Clerk.
All bids shall be addressed to tho Clerk of the city of
Newport Beach and uccoml)anied by a chedl, payable to the Treasurer
thereof in a sum equal to two per cent. of the aggregate of the bid
and certified by a responsible bank in this State.
When the sale of bonds have been a(Ivertised as herein
provided any and all bonds not sold un -aer such advertisement may be
thereafter sold by the Board of Trustees at private sale without
other or further or ad4itiona.l notice; provided, that no bonds
shall be sold for less than their par value and interest accrued
at the date of delivery. The proceeds from the sale of any and all
bonds shall he placed iri the treasury of the city of Newport Beach
to the credit of the funds of municipal Improvement District No. 2
of the city of Newport Bench, and shall be applied exclusively to
the purpose of the acquisition of the improvement mentioned in
Ordinance No. 013 and inthis Resolution defined.
