RESOLUTION FOR THE SALE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
• OF THE CITY OF NE-':PORT BEACH.
WHEREAS, it is satisfactorily appearing to the City
Council of the City of Yewport Beach that it would be for the
benefit and best interests of the City of Newport Beach to sell
the real property hereinafter described; and
=7 REAS, it further satisfactorily appearing
to said City Council of the City of Newport Beach that the said
real property is vacant property and is not now being used by said
City, nor has the same ever been used by said City; and
7HEREAS, an adaquate and sufficient sonsideration
has been offered to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
by the Balboa Beach Amusement Co., a California Corporation with
offices at Balboa, California, for said described real property;
and
WHEREAS, said property is not any portion of any
- Eterfront.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That it would be
for the benefit and best interests of the City of Newport Beach
that the following described real property belonging to said
City of AFe ^port Beach, and situated in the City of Newport Beach,
County of Orange, State of California, and more particularly
described as follows, to -wit:
Parcel 1 :- All that portion of Block "C" of the
Balboa Tract in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange,
State of California, as per map thereof recorded in Book 4, page
11 of ;iscellaneous 'Naps, Records of Orange County, California,
lying southeasterly of the southwesterly extension of the north-
westerly line of Lot 15, in Block 8 of said Balboa Tract,

Parcel 2:- All that portion of Block "C" of the
Balboa Tract in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange,
• State of California, as per nap thereof recorded in Book 4, page
11 of Uiscellaneous LLps, Records of Orange County, California,
lying between the southwesterly extensions of the northwesterly
and southeasterly lines of Lot 10, in Block 8 of said Balboa
Tract,
Parcel 3:- All that portion of Block "B" of the
Balboa Tract in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange,
State of California, as per map thereof recorded in Book 4, page
11 of b :iscellaneous '- "aps, Records of Orange County, California,
lying southeasterly of the southwesterly extension of the north-
westerly line of Lot 15, in Block 6 of said Balboa Tract,
be sold for the sum of X1500.00, lawful money of the United
States, to The Balboa Beach Amusement Co., a California corpor-
ation, and upon payment of said sum, to the said City of Newport
Beach, that a good and sufficient deed be executed and delivered
to the Balboa Beach Amusement CO., a California Corporation, by
the ;.:ayor of said City of Newport Beach and the City Clerk of
said City respectively, conveying all of the right, title and
interest of the City of Newport Beach in said real property.
BE IT FURTHER RE'OLVED: That said City of
Newport Beach, upon the payment of the price as aforesaid, and
delivery of said deed as aforesaid, grant to said purchaser the
immediate possession of the whole of said property.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
r:as duly and regularly passed by the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 23rd day
of September, 1929, by the following vote, to -wit:
