CONDITIONS SET FORTH IN A IURITTEN CONTRACT THIS DAY PRE-

SENTED TO THE CITY COUNCIL, AND AUTHORIZING THE 'i;AYOR OF

SAID CITY AND THE CITY CLERK OF SAID CITY TO EXECUTE SAID

CONTRACT FOR SAID CITY.

WHEREAS, pursuant to instructions, the City Attorney of
13
the City of Newport Beach has this day prepared a contract and
14
presented the same for consideration to the City Council of the
15
City of Newport Beach, in which said contract the City of Newport
16
Beach grants to of Newport
17
Beach, a license to have the exclusive pier rights to have and
18
sell live bait on that certain pier owned by the City of Newport
19
Beach, being the wharf which extends into and over the haters of
20
the Pacific Ocean from the southerly end of ;Bain Street, Balboa,
21
being the wharf erected by the funds of Municipal Improvement
22
District No. 1 of the City of Newport Beach, upon certain
23
conditions and specifications set forth in said agreement and for
24
the time specified in said agreement.

NOVI, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said contract be,
26
and the same is hereby approved as written, by the City Council
27
of said City of Newport Beach, and the Mayor of said City and the
28
City Clerk of said City shall, and they are hereby authorized to
•
29
sign the same on behalf of said City, and the Clerk is directed t
30
have the party of tho'second part execute said contract within
31
five days from date hereof, and the said contract shall thereupon
32
be filed and become a valid contract as between said parties.
