RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION OF IN-
TENTION AND RESOLUTION ORDERING ACQUISI-
TIONS AND ABANDONING ALL PROCEEDINGS IN
THE ABOVE MENTIONED MATTER.
RESOLUTION NO.14
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach, California, in the matter of Acquisition and Improve-
ment District No. 2 of the City of' Newport Beach, on the 1st
day of December, 1930, did adopt Resolution of Intention No.
644 in the above mentioned matter, and on the 5th day of
January, 1931, did adopt Resolution Ordering Acquisitions
No. 647 in said matter, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution Ordering Acquisi-
tions No. 647, the attorney appointed in the above mentioned
matter filed an action in the Superior Court of the State of
California, in and for the County of Orange, to condemn the
real property described in said resolution, said action being
entitled: City of Newport Beach v. Ida B. McInnes et al., and
numbered 28530, and
WHEREAS, the said City Council of the City of Newport
Beach did on the 1st day of August, 1932, authorize and direct
the attorney of record to take all steps necessary to dismiss
the said condemnation action and to report to this City Council
the total costs filed and claimed by the answering defendants
in said action, and
WHEREAS, the attorney of record has reported to this
City Council that he has filed with the Clerk of said Court a
dismissal of the said action and that upon written motion to

the said court a judgment of dismissal was duly signed by
• said court and entered by its clerk on the 12th day of August,
1932, and that subsequent thereto a notice of entry of judg-
ment was served on each and every attorney of record for the
answering defendants.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach as follows:
That Resolution of Intention No. 644, adopted on the
1st day of December, 1930, in the matter of Acquisition and
Improvement District No. 2 of the City of Newport Beach, and
Resolution Ordering Acquisitions No. 647 adopted on the 5th
day of January, 1931, in the above mentioned matter, be and
each of said resolutions is hereby rescinded and repealed, and
that all proceedings taken in the matter of Acquisition and
Improvement District No. 2 of the City of Newport Beach be
and the same are hereby abandoned.
That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to file a
notice with the Registrar of Titles of the County of Orange
of this abandonment wherein it affects lands registered under
the Land Title Act of the State of California and upon which
notices of these proceedings have heretofore been filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting thereof held
