4 WHEREAS, the Veteran's Welfare Board of the United States
5 has requested of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach a
6 definite offer in writing relative to the furnishing of water for
7 the Veteran's Hospital, if the same should be located near Corona
8 Del Mar, outside of the city limits of the City of Newport Beach.
9 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of
10
Newport Beach has excess water to furnish those outside of the

City limits of the City of Newport Beach, and is able to furnish
12
a minimum of 86,000 cubic feet per day, to such Veteran's
13
Hospital, if the same shall be located at the site contemplated
14
near the city of Newport Beach, as aforesaid.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the City of Newport Beach
16
furnish such water to such Veteran's Hospital, if and when needed,
17
at a price of eight and 8/10 cents per one hundred (100) cubio
18
feet, under a written contract, in accordance with the rules,
19
regulations and ordinances of the City of Newport Beach.
20 BENT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the City Olerk of the City l!

of Newport Beach send a certified copy of this resolution to
22
General Hines, Veteran's Administrator, at Washington, D. 0.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
25
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council
26
of the City of Newport Beach at a special meeting thereof held
27
on the 6th day of October, 1932, by the following vote, to —wit:
