HomeMy WebLinkAbout768 - Construction of Sign Boards1 2. • 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 ]0 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 RESOLUTION NO. _ WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain contract by and between the City of Newport Beach, a municipal corporation, in said contract referred to as the party of the first part, and Foster and Kleiser Company, in said contract referred to as the party of the second part; and WHEREAS, said contract provides that the first party grants to the second party, permission and license to erect and construct a certain sign board for painted, printed or illuminated advertising signs, including necessary structures, devices and connections, on the following described property, to —wit: 50 feet by 75 feet at the Northeasterly corner of the city property north of the U. S. Government Bulkhead line between Station 129 and Station 130, Orange County, California) upon the conditions and terms in said contrract set forth. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor of said City of Newport Beach, and the City Clerk of said city, be and they are hereby authorized and directed to sign said contract on behalf of said City of Newport Beach, and the City Clerk is further instructed to have the party of the second part execute the original contract, and return to the City Clerk, whereupon the same shall become 'valid and binding as between said parties. I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution was duly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 17th day of October, 1932, by the following vote, to —wit: AYES, COUNCILMEN: ��n. lAd ;rep " k,� Ana. p .Y+ NOES, COUNCILMEN: City Clerk �.
