RESOLUTION NO. ,
WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the city of Newport Beach a certain contract wherein
the city of Newport Beach is designated as the party of the first
part, and C. E. price and E. V. S. Pomeroy, are designated as
the parties of the second part; and
WHEREAS, said contract provides that the party of the
first part will furnish to the party of the second part all
garbage which may from time to time be collected by the
Superintendent of Streets of said city, from the various residence
and business houses within said city, to be disposed of by second
parties as in said contract set forth; and
WHEREAS, said contract provides for the term, consideratia
and conditions for which the same is to be given; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Newport Beach
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
contract be executed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and
City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby
authorized and directed to execute said contract on behalf of
the city of Newport Beach, and that a duly executed copy of
said contract be delivered forthwith to the parties of the second
part.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing resolution
was duly and regularly passed by the City Council of the City
adjourned
of Newport Beach at a regular /meeting thereof held on the 11th
day, of February, 1935, by the follows "vote, to —twit:
