RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, the City Attorney of the city of Newport Beach
has presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
copies of .two certain escrows now pending in the Orange County
Title Company of Santa Ana, California, which said escrows are
numbered 145970 and 145971, and a certain agreement in connection
with said escrows aforesaid; and
WHEREAS, said escrows and agreement aforesaid call for the
approval of the City Council of the city of Newport Beach before
they shall become effective for any purpose whatever.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH that said escrows numbered 145970 and
145971, and said agreement in connection therewith be, and the
same are hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the work and improvement
to be done by the city of Newport Beach shall be done in
accordance with plans and specifications of the City Engineer
of the City of Newport Beach, approved and on file herein, and
under his supervision, and that said First Trust and Savings
Bank, a party to said escrow, may construct or cause to be
constructed, gas mains,at the time the excavating for said work
is done.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council
of the city of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held
on the 2nd day of March, 1936, by the following vote, to-wit:
