HomeMy WebLinkAbout960 - Sale of Excess WaterRESOLUTION NO.�lgd 1 2 WHEREAS, pursuant to instructions, the City Attorney 3 of the City of Newport Beach, has prepared a contract in which S4 the City of Newport Beach agrees to sell certain excess water 5 of said city to STANDARD STATIONS, INC., upon the conditions, 6 covenants and restrictions in said contract set forth; and 7 WHEREAS, said contract has been duly presented by the 8 City Attorney to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach, 9 for its acceptance and approval. 10 NOW, TBEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That that certain 11 contract made and entered into the 1st day of April, 1936, by 12 and between the City of Newport Beach, as the party of the first 13 part, and STANDARD STATIONS, INC., as the party of the second 14 part, wherein and whereby the City of Newport Beach agrees to 15 sell certain of its excess water upon certain conditions, 16 restrictions and limitations to said party of the second part, 17 be and the same is hereby approved as written. 18 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City Clerk 19 of the City of Newport Beach be authorized and directed to sign 20 said contract on behalf of the city of Newport Beach. 21 22 I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly 23 and regularly passed by the City Council of the City of Newport �4 ch at a regular meeting thereof held on the Lsf day of 25 , 1936, by the following vote tov,wit: 26 AYE COUNCILMEN: OP o faire 27 h. whil 0-n pia i ' ) � ` 28 NOES, COUNCILMEN: ! 0 0111 el (SEAL) 29 �� = ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: -per 30 tes ' 31 C _. y Clerk 32
