APPLICATION RESOLUTION

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH TO FILE AN APPLICATION TO THE
UNITED STATES OF AMERICA THROUGH THE FEDERAL
EMERGENCY ADMINISTRATION OF PUBLIC WORKS FOR A
GRANT TO AID IN FINANCING THE CONSTRUCTION OF
A SEWAGE DISPOSAL PLANT AND SEWER MAINS, AND
DESIGNATING THE CITY ENGINEER TO FURNISH SUCH
INFORMATION AS THE GOVERNMENT MAY REQUEST.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Newport Beach,
California:
SECTION 1That.Harr�-g H. Williamson, Mayor, be and he is authorized
To execute and file an application on behalf of the City of
Newport Beach to the United States of America for a grant to aid
in financing the construction of a Sewage Disposal PlAnt and
Sewer Mains.
SECTION 2, That R. L. Patterson, City Engineer, be and he
ere y authorized and directed to furnish such information as
the United States of America through the Federal Emergency Ad-
ministration of Public Works may reasonably request in connection
with the application which is herein authorized to be filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach, California, at a regular adjourned meeting thereof;
held on this 27th day of July, 1936, by the following vote, to -wit

NOES: COUNCILMEN None
