RESOLUTION NO. laq
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Newport Beach did on the 29th day of November, 1935, at a
regular meeting of said Commission adopt by resolution a
certain map designated "District Map "; and
WHEREAS, said District Map mentioned in the previous
paragraph, together with all matters shown thereon, was made a
part of Ordinance No. 440 of the City of Newport Beach, passed
and adopted by the City Council of said city on the 6th day of
January, 1936, as being part of the master plan of the city of
Newport Beach; and
WHEREAS, said District Map heretofore mentioned is on
file in the office of the City Clerk of theCity of Newport Beach
and reference thereto is made hereby for further particulars; and
WHEREAS, the City planning Commission of the City of
Newport Beach did, pursuant to advertising, post card notices
and public hearings, recommend on or about March let, 1937, to
the City Council of the City of Newport Beach that said District
map heretofore referred to be amended in a manner to show
Lot 16, Block 14, Section 4, Balboa Island, in an R -2 District
rather than in a 0 -1 District, as now shown on said District
Map, and that Lots 5 and 6, Block 9, Section 1, and Lots 1 and 2,
Block 7, Section 1, Balboa Island, in the City of Newport Beach
be shown in a C -1 District rather than in an R -2 District, as now
shown by said District Map aforesaid; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach,
having called a public hearing in the manner provided for by
said Ordinance No. 440 aforesaid, did, at said public hearing
held on the 22nd day of March, 1937, determine that said lots
should be changed from one district to another as hereinabove
specified.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED; That Lots 5 and 6,

Block 9, Sectionland Lots 1 and 2, Block 7, Section 1, Balboa

Island in the City of Newport Beach be shown on said District
4
Map in a 0-1 District; and
5
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That Lot 16 in Block 14, Section
6
4, Balboa Island, in the city of Newport Beach, be shown on said
7
district map in an R -2 district.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED; That said map heretofore
and
9
prepared by the City Engineer of the City of Newport Beach /ri?a;__,;„

"Supplement No. 1 to District Map" be, and the same is hereby
11
approved, and that said "Supplement No. 1 to District Maps and
12
all matters shown thereon, be, and the same are hereby made a
13
part of Ordinance No. 440 of the City of Newport Beach, passed
14
and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
15
on January 6th, 1936, as being part of the master plan of the
16
City of Newport Beach

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That said Supplement No. 1 to
18
the District Map, shall be and constitute an amendment to said
19
District Map, and as said District Map shall have been so
20
amended, the same shall remain in full force and effect, and
21
part of said Ordinance No. 440 of the City of Newport Beach and
22
amendments thereto.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
25
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council
26
of the city of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held
27
on the 5th day of April, 1937, by the following vote, to -wit:
