RESOLUTION NO.
1
2 WHEREAS, GRACE RAY, a single woman, has this day
3 offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of $475.00 for
4 Lots 9 and 11, Block 333, Corona Del Mar, in the city of Newport
5 Beach, as shown on Map recorded in Book 3, pages 41 and 42 of
6 Miscellaneous Maps, Recordsof Orange County, California; and
7 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
g as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
9 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
10 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
11 property be sold for the said sum of $475:00; and
12 WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
13 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
14 above described.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property
16 be sold to Grace Ray, for the sum of $475.00, free and clear of
17 all encumbrances, subject to the taxes for the fiscal year
18 1937-39, and unpaid improvement assessments of record. Also
19 subject to conditions, restrictions and reservations of record.
