3 WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
4 Council of the city of Newport Beacki a certain Contract of
5 Conditional Sale, by and between THEODORE ROBINS, therein referred
6 to as Seller, and the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, therein referred to
7 as Purchaser; and
8 WHEREAS, said contract provides that the Seller sells
9 to the Purchaser one certain 1937 Ford V -8 Standard Sedan,
10 Motor No. 18�3877900for the sum of 0844.45, which said automobile
11 is more particularly described in said contract; and
12 WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Newport Beach
13 deems that it is for the best interests of said city that said
14 automobile be purchased for the City of Newport Beach, for the
15 price and upon the terms and conditions in said contract set
16 forth.
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and
18 City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby
19 authorized, directed and instructed to execute said contract of
20 conditional sale on behalf of the City of Newport Beach, and the
21 Clerk is instructed to deliver a duly executed copy thereof
22 forthwith to the Seller therein named.
23 1 I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
24 duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
25 the City of Newport Beach at a regular
26 meeting thereof held on the JZ day of , 1937,
