RESOLUTION NO. 1137
WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the
City Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain Contract of
Conditional Sale, by and between the Theodore Robins, as party
of the first part, therein referred to as Seller, and the City of
Newport Beach, therein referred to as Purchaser; and
WHEREAS, it is provided in said contract that the
seller sells to the purchaser one certain 1937 Ford V -8 Panel
Truck, Motor No. 18- 3867890, for the sum of $977.98, all as in
said Contract more particularly set forth; and
WHEREAS; the City Council of the 'aty of Newport Beach
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
truck be purchased, on the terms and conditions and for the
price set forth in said Contract of Conditional Sale.
N0W, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and
City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby
authorized, directed and instructed to execute said Contract of
Conditional Sale on behalf of the city of Newport Beach, and
the Clerk is instructed to deliver a duly executed copy thereof
forthwith to the Seller therein named.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at a adjourned regular meeting thereof
