RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain Contract of
Conditional Sale, dated July let, 1937, by and between Theodore
Robins of Newport Beach, California, therein referred to as the
Seller, and the City of Newport Beach, therein referred to as
the Purchaser; and
WHEREAS, said contract provides for the Seller selling
to the Purchaser one certain 1937 Ford 9 -8 60 H. P. Pickup truck,
in said contract more particularly described, for the amount
therein specified; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
deems it advisable and for the best interests of said City of
Newport Beach that said truck be purchased by the City under the
terms and conditions and for the sum therein set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City
Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby
authorized and directed to sign said contract in the name of and
on behalf of the city of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk
deliver a duly executed= copy thereof to the Seller therein named.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City
of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 5th
day of July, 1937, by the following vote, to -wit:
