RESOLUTION N0. k0,
WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the city of Newport Beach, a certain Contract of Condi-
tional Sale, dated July let, 1937, by and between THEODORE ROBINS,
of Newport Beach, California, therein referred to as the Seller,
and the City of Newport Beach, therein referred to as the
Purchaser; and
WHEREAS, it is provided in said Contract that the seller
sells to the purchaser one certain 1937 Ford P -8 Model 79 -
1311" W. B. Chasis with Cab, duel rear wheels, all as more
particularly described and set forth in said Contract, for the
purchase price therein specified; and
AREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
deems it advisable and for the best interests of said City that
said automobile be purchased by the City, under the terms and
conditions and for the sum therein specified.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and
City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby
authorized and directed to sign said contract in the name of and
on behalf of the city of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk
deliver a duly executed copy thereof to the Seller therein named.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City
of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 5th
day of July, 1937, by the following vote, to -wi :
