RESOLUTION N0. 170
WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the
City Council of the City of Newport Beach , a certain Agreement
for Sale of Real Estate dated the 2nd day of August, 1937,
by and between the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, a Municipal corporation
of the sixth class, therein referred to as the Seller, and
ETHEL REA BALATON, therein referred to as the Buyer; and
WHEREAS, said Agreement for Sale of Real Estate
provides for the sale, by the Seller to the Buyer, of Lots 5, 9,
10 and 12 in Block 5, Seashore Colony Tract, in the city of Newport
Beach, Orange County, California, for the sum of $200.00, payable
upon the terms and conditions and in the amounts specified in
said Agreement of Sale; sn d
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach believes that it is for the best interests of said city
that said real property be sold to the said purchaser upon the
terms and conditions in said agreement set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and
City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby
directed, authorized and instructed to execute said Agreement
for Sale of Real Estate in the name of the City of Newport Beach,
and the City Clerk is directed to deliver a duly executed copy
thereof forthwith to the Purchaser therein named.
I hereby certify that the aboveandforegoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on
the 2nd day of August, 1937, by the following vote, to -wit.
