WHEREAS, 0. J. MC KINNEY and RACHEL A. McKINNEY, husbanc

and wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NMORT BEACH,
4
the sum of $150.00 for Lot 11, Block 429, Corona del Mar,
5
in the City of Newport Beach, as shown on Map recorded in
6
Book 3, pages 41 and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
7
Orange County, California; and
8
WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
9
as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
10
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
11
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
12
property be sold for the said sum of $150.00; and
13
WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and
14
adequate and 'is not disproportionate to the real value of the
15
property above described.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property
17
be sold to the said 0. J. McKinney and Rachel A. McKinney,
18
husband and wife, for the sum of $150.00, free and clear of
19
all encumbrances, subject to the taxes for the fiscal year
20
1937 -38 and unpaid improvement assessments of record. Also
21
subject to conditions, restrictions and reservations of record.

And the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and
23
directed to execute and deliver a deed for said property to
24
the said parties upon receipt of the consideration above set
25
forth.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $15.00 be
27
paid to H. Cardoza Sloan, as and for his commission for the
28
negotiating of the sale of said real property to, 0. J. McKinney
29
and Rachel A. McKinney, his wife, as joint tenants, said sum
30
being a fair and reasonable commission to be allowed in said
31
sale and said broker being a licensed realtor of the City of
32
Newport Beach.
