CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. WHEREAS, a certain Deed - Highway Easement, dated the day of September, 1938, from the City of Newport Beach, a Municipal corporation of the State of California, to the State of California, granting, conveying and dedicating to the State of California for public highway upon, over and across all that certain real property situated in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, and more particularly described as follows, to -wit; A strip of land 20 feet wide, being the South- westerly 20 feet of Lot 53 in Block "B" of Tract No. 673 as per map recorded in Book 20, pages 17 and 18 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said County, was presented to the City Council of the city of Newport Beach, California; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said Easement be granted upon the terms and conditions therein set forth, and other valuable considerations, including the widening of Highway No. 101 through that portion of the city of Newport Beach known as Corona Del Mar, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED; That the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby authorized, instructed and directed to execute said Deed - Highway Easement, in the name of and on behalf of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk deliver a duly executed copy ther to the State of California, Division of Highways.
