RESOLUTION NO. �HAJr
WHEREAS, a certain Quitclaim Deed dated the 19th day of
December, 1936, from the City of Newport Beach, a Municipal corpor-
ation of the sixth class, to RUBY A. THOMPSON, quitclAiming,
releosing and remising to said Ruby A. Thompson all that certain
real property situated in the City of Newport Beach, County of
Orange, State of California, and more particularly described as
follows:
Lot 13 in Block 17, First Addition to Newport
Heights, as per map thereof recorded in Book 4,
page 94 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange
County, California.
was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach; andl
WHEREAS, the City Council deems that the consideration
offered for said Quitclaim Deed is fair, just and adequate and not
disproportionate to the actual value of the interest which the City
of Newport Beach has in and to said property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
deems that it is for the best interests of said city of Newport
Beach that said Quitclaim Deed be executed in favor of Ruby A.
Thompson, by the Mayor and City Clerk of said City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City
Clerk of the city of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby directed
and authorized to execute said Quitclaim deed on behalf of the City
of Newport Beach, and the City Clerk is instructed to deliver the
same to Ruby A. Thompson.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach. at an adjourned regular meeting thereof
held on _January 1939, by the followi g ote,toawit:
