A Grant Deed, dated the 8th day of October, 1938, from
J. A. Beek, to the City of Newport Beach, a Municipal Corpora-
tion, granting to the said City of Newport Beach, the following
described real property, to -wit:
All that certain real property situated in the
City of Newport Beach, County of Orange,
State of California, more particularly as-
scribed as follows, to -wit:.
The Westerly ten (10) feet of Lot Five (5) in
Block Fourteen (14) of Section Four, Balboa
Island, as 'shown on a Map recorded in Book
7, page 37, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of
Orange County, California.
was presented to the City Council of the Oity of Newport Beach,
California,

and carried, that said Grant Deed be accepted by said City of
