CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. WHEREAS, There has been this day presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach, a certain agreement be- tween the City of New-oort Beach, in said agreement designated Optioner and Lew H. Wallace in said agreement designated Op- tionee, and covering the following described real property, situated in the City of Newport Beach, and more particularly described as follows, to —wit: LOT BLOCK TRACT 8, 10 and 11 230 Lancaster's Addition 11 and 12 13 First Add. to Newport Heights 12, 16 and 17 14 First Add. to Newport Heights 7 23 First Add. to Newport Heights 3, 4 and 16 24 First Add. to Newport Heights AND, WHEREAS, the public has been notified of the said agreement by a certain Ordinance duly passed, adopted and published at the time and in the manner required by law, which said Ordinance is No. LQ of the City of Newport Beach and now appears in the Ordinance Book of said City; and WHEREAS, it is the opinion and judgment of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach, that the consideration offered by the said Lew H. Wallace for the purchase under said agreement of real property hereinabove mentioned, is, in all respects fair, just and adequate, and the best interests of said City of Newport Beach will be served by the execution and delivery of said agreement or option hereinabove referred to; and WHEREAS, it appears that there have been no protests either written or verbal by any person to the execution of said agreement. r:.: ip� 1. • 1 NOW, THE;.EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that it is the opinion 2 and judgment of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach, 3 that the consideration for the execution of said agreement by 4 said City with the said Lew H. Wallace is in all respects just, 5 fair and adequate, and that the best interests of said City and 6 the inhabitants thereof will be served by the entering into of 7 said agreement aforesaid; and 8 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk of 9 the City of Newport Beach be authorized, directed and instructed 10 to execute said agreement on behalf of the City of Newport Beach 11 in duplicate, and that a duplicate copy thereof be filed in the 12 office of the Clerk of said City, and a duplicate copy thereof 13 be delivered to said Lew H.
