WHEREAS, FLOYD W. BODLE and MILDRED V. BODLE, husband
4 and wife, have this ady offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH,
5 the sum of $250.00 for Lot 30, Tract 948, in the city of Newport
6 Beach, as shown on Map recorded in Book 30, page 7 of Miscellaneou
7 Maps, records of Orange County, California; and
8 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price as
9 and for the purchase price of said lot; and
10 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
11 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
12 property be sold for the said sum of $250.00; and
13 WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
14 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
15
above described.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property
17 be sold to the said Floyd W. Bodle and Mildred V. Bodle, husband
18 and wife, for the sum of $250.00, free and clear of all encumbran
19 ces, subject to the taxes for the fiscal year 1939 -40 and unpaid
20 improvement assessments of record. Also subject to conditions,
21 restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor and the City
22 Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver
23 a deed for said property to the said parties upon receipt of
24 the consideration above set forth.
25 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $25.00 be paid
26 to Gertrude A. Waldron, as and for her commission for the
27 negotiating of the sale of said real property to Floyd.W. Bodle
28 and Mildred V. Bodle, his wife, as joint tenants, said sum being
• a fair and reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale, and

30 said broker being a licensed, realtor of the City of Newport Beach}

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Newport Beach at an adjourned regular
meeting thereof held on the 25th day of February, 1939 by the
following vote, to -wit:
