RESOLUTION NO.
'WHEREAS, a certain Grant Deed dated the 17th day of
December, 1938, from Audria R. Fey, to the City of Newport
Beach, a Municipal corporation, granting to said City all
that certain real property situated in the City of Newport
Beach, County of Orange, State of California, and more parti-
cularly described as follows:
An easement for pipe lines and pole lines upon,
over, under and across two strips of land 5.00
feet wide, being the Southwesterly 5 feet of the
Northwesterly 40 feet and the Southeasterly 5
feet of the Northwesterly 45 feet of Lot 9 in
Block 730 of Corona Del Mar, as per map recorded
in Book 3, pages 41 and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps,
in the office of the County Recorder of said County.
was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach,
California; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that
said deed be accepted upon the terms and conditions therein
set forth, and other valuable considerations, including the
widening of Highway No. 101 through that portion of the City
of Newport Beach, known as Corona Del Mar.
NOW, THEREFORE] BE IT RESOLVED: That said Grant Deed be
accepted by the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk
with
be instructed to record the same forthwith /the County Recorder
of Orange County, California.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolu-
tion was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Neport Beach at an adjourned regular
meeting thereof held on the ffth day of February, 1939, by the
following vote, to —wit:
