WHEREAS, a certain Corporation Grant Deed dated the
Io4 _ day of r\0L1C ., , 1931 , from the City of
Newport Beach, a municipal corporation of the sixth class
of the State of California, granting to Lester Paul Sims and
Hazel R. Sims, husband and wife, as joint tenants, all that
certain real property situated in the City of Newport Beach,
County of Orange, State of California, and more particularly
described as follows, to -wit;
Lot 1 in Block "T" of Tract No. 323, as per map
recorded in Book 14, pages 40 and 41 of Miscel-
laneous Maps, in the office of the County Recorder
of said County.
Subject to an easement for highway purposes granted
to the State of California, by deed recorded in Book
958, page 300 of Official Records of said County.
Subject to easements, reservations and restrictions
of record.
was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach,
California; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
property be granted to said Grantee upon the terms and condi-
tions therein set forth, and other valuable considerations,
including the widening of Highway No. 101 through that por-
tion of the City of Newport Beach known as Corona Del Mar.
NOWO THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED; That the Mayor and
City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are
hereby directed, authorized and instructed to execute said
Grant Deed in the name of and on behalf of the City of
Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk deliver a duly execu-
ted copy thereof, to the Grantee therein named.
