WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to
the City
3
Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain contract
wherein
4
the City of Newport Beach is designated as the party of
the first
5
part, and E. V. A. POMEROY is designated as the party of
the
6
second part; and
7
WHEREAS, said contract provides that the party of the
8
first part will furnish to the party of the second part
all
9
garbage which may from time to time be collected by the
Super -
10
intendent of Streets of said city, from the various residences
11
and business houses within said city, to be disposed of
by
12
second party as in said contract set forth; and
13
WHEREAS, said contract provides for the term,
consider-
14
ation and conditions
for which the same
is
to be given; and
15
WHEREAS, the City Council of
the
City
of Newport Beach

1 deems that it is for
the best interests
of
said
city that said
17 11 contract be executed.

NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED: That the
Mayor and
19
City Clerk of the City of
Newport Beach be, and they are hereby
20
authorized and directed to
execute said contract on
behalf of
21
the City of Newport Beach,
and that a duly executed
copy of said
22
contract be delivered forthwith to the party of the
second part.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing
24
resolution was duly and regularly passed by the City Council of
25
the City of Newport Beach at a regular adjourned meeting thereof
26
