RESOLUTION NO.
vMREAS, the City of Newport Beach is now the owner in fee
of all that certain real property, situate in the City Of
Newport Beach, Orange County, California, and more particular-
ly described as follows, to -wit:

AND, WHEREAS, the assessment rolls of the amity of Newport
Beach show that said property is owned by the City of Newport
Beach,
NOWT, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach does hereby authorize and direct the City Auditor and
Tax Collector of the City of Newport Beach to cancel all
taxes and assessments, inclusive of the 1938 -39 taxes and
assessments and excluding from said cancellation the lien
of the assessments now against said property levied and
assessed under the Improvement Act of 1911, and the taxes
for the fiscal year 1939 -4o.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council
of the City oc Newport Beach at an adjourned regular meeting
thereof held on the 20th day of March, 1939, by the following
vote, to -wit:
