3 WHEREAS, a certain Corporation Grand Deed dated the

8 of Orange, State of California, and more particularly described
9 as follows, to -wit:

11 Lot 2 and the Southerly 25 feet of Lot 1, in Block "M"
of Tract No. 323 as per map recorded in Book 14, pages
12 40 and 41 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the
County Recorder of said County.

That portion of Lot 2 in Block 733 of Corona Del Mar,
as per map recorded in Book 3, pages 41 and 42 of
Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the County Record-
er of said County, lying Southerly of the Easterly pro-
longation of the Northerly line of the Southerly 25
feet of Lot 1 in Block "M" of Tract No. 323, as per map
recorded in Book 14, pages 40 and 41 of Miscellaneous
Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said
County.
Subject to an easement for highway purposes granted to
the State of California, upon, over and across said
Parcel 1.
Subject to reservations and restrictions of record.
- -was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach,
California; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach,
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
property be granted to said Grantee upon the terms and conditions
therein set forth, and other valuable considerations, including
the widening of Highway No. 101 through that portion of the City
of Newport Beach known as Corona Del Mar.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City
Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby

directed, authorized and instructed to execute said Grant Deed in
the name of and on behalf of the City of Newport Beach, and that
the City Clerk deliver a duly executed copy thereof to the Grantee
therein named.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on
the 3rd day of April, 1939, by the following vote, to -wit:
