WHEREAS, WALLACE A. GIBBONS and LOUISE W. GIBBONS,

is
husband and wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT
4
BEACH, the sum of $150.00 for Lots 65 and 66, Tract 441E in the
5
city of Newport Beach, as shown on Map recorded in Book 19,
6
page 29 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
7
California; and
8
WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
9
as and for the purchase price of said lots; and
10
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
11
deems that it i§ for the best interests of said City that said
12
property be sold for the said sum of $150.00; and
13
WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
14
and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
15
above described.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property
17
be sold to the said Wallace A. Gibbons and Louise W. Gibbons,
18
husband and wife, for the sum of $150.00, free and clear of all
19
encumbrances, subject to the taxes for the fiscal year 1939 -40
20
and unpaid improvement assessments of record. Also subject to
21
conditions, restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor
22
and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute
23
and deliver a deed for said property to the said parties upon
24
receipt of the consideration above set forth.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Remlutio
26
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
27
the City of Newport Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereo
28
held on the 19th day of June, 1939 by the following vote, to -wit:
