RESOLUTION NO. Ili
WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the
City Council of the City of Newport.Beach a certain lease wherein
the City of Newport Beach is referred to as the Lessor, and Roscoe
L. Hart, is referred to as the Lessee; and
WHEREAS, said lease provides that the lessor leases
to the lessee the following described real property situated in
the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California,
and more particularly.described as follows, to -wit:
"The easterly 25 feet of Lot 6, Block 218, as laid out and
shown upon map of Section A. Newport Beach, recorded in Miscellan-
eous Maps, Book 4 Page 21, Records of Orange County, California,
and a portion of Lot 4, Section 33, Township 6 South, Range 10
West, S.B.B. & M., bounded on the south by the northerly line of
said Lot 6. on the north by the easterly extension of the norther-
ly line of Lot 4 in said Block 218, on the east by the northerly
prolongation of the easterly line of said Lot 6, and on the west
by the northerly prolongation of the westerly line of Lot 8 in
said Block 218.'

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach deems that it is for the best interests and benefit of said
City of Newport Beach that said Lease be executed by and on behalf
of said City, upon the terms, consideration and conditions therein
set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and
City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby
directed, authorized and instructed to execute said Lease in the
name of and on behalf of the City of Newport Beach, and that the
Clerk deliver a duly executed copy thereof to the Lessee therein
named.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolu-
tion was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Coun-
cil of the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof
held on the 7th day of August, 1939, by the following vote,
to -wit:
