2 A Quitclaim Deed dated the 17th day of November,
3 1939" from RIVERSIDE FINANCE and INVESTMENT COMPANY, a corporation
4 to the City of Newport Beach, a municipal corporation of the sixth
5 class, remising, releasing and quitclaiming to the city of Newport
6 Beach all that certain real property situated in the city of
7 Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, and more
8 particularly described as follows, to -wit:
9 Lot 18, Block 438, Canal Section, Newport Beach,
as shown on a Map recorded in Book 4, page 98
10 pf Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California.

was presented to the City Council of the city of Newport Beach,

California.

WHEREUPON, Councilman � made a

motion, duly seconded by Councilman -tea s and

carried, that said Quitclaim Deed be accepted by the City of
16
Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be instructed to record
17
the same forthwith with the County Recorder of Orange County,
18
California.

That said motion was carried by the following
