RESOLUTION NO.�o
WHEREAS, a certain Deed of Easement dated the 3rd
day of November, 1939, from E. 0. Soyland and Ada E. Soyland,
husband and wife, and Santa Ana Building and Loan Association,
a Corporation of Santa Ana, California, to the CITY OF NEWPORT
BEACH, a Municipal Corporation, granting and giving to said
City a certain easement for drain pipe purposes over and across
certain real property, which said deed of easement is described
as follows, to -wit:
An easement for the construction of a 6"
diameter pipe storm drain with the right
to maintain and reconstruct said storm
drain along the northerly three (3) feet
of Lot 7, Block 20, as shown upon a map
of Section 3, Balboa Island, recorded in
Miscellaneous Maps, Book 7, page 15,
records of Orange County, California,
- -was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beac:
California; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach deems that it is for the best interests of said City that
said deed of easement be.accepted for the consideration therein
set forth, to -wit: The sum of ONE AND NO 1100 ($1.00) DOLLARS.
NOVI, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said deed of
easement be accepted by the City of Newport Beach, and that the
City Clerk be instructed to record the same forthwith with the
County Recorder of Orange County, California.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 4th day of December, 1939, by the following
vote, to -wit:
