1 RESOLUTION N0. I I �
2 WHEREAS, a certain Grant Deed dated the day of
3 February, 1940, from the City of Newport Beach, a Municipal cor-
'� 4 poration, to Ruby Suman, a single woman, granting to said Ruby
5 Suman all that certain real property situated in the City of New -
6 port Beach, County of Orange, State of California, and more
7 particularly described as follows, to -wit:
8 Those portions of Lots 2 and 3 in Block "R" of
9 Tract No- 323 as per map recorded in Book 14,
pages 40 and 41 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
said Orange County, described in deed to John J.
10 Murphy et ux, dated May 7, 1925, and recorded in
11 Book 610, page 331 of Deeds, records of said County.
Together with the Southwesterly 1/2 of the
12 alley lying northeasterly of and adjoining said land,
as shown on map of said Tract.

was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach; a
14
WHEREAS, the City Council deems that the consideration of-
15
fered for said Grant Deed is fair, just and adequate and not dis-
16
proportionate to the actual value of said property; and
17
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
18
deems that it is for the best interests of said City of Newport
19
Beach that said Grant Deed be executed in favor of Ruby Suman,
20
by the Mayor and City Clerk of said City.

NOWT THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City
22
Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby
23
directed, instructed and authorized to execute said Grant Deed
24
on behalf of the City of Newport Beach, and the City Clerk is
25
instructed to deliver the same to Ruby Suman.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
27
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council
28
of the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held
