RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, a certain Grant Deed dated the day of
February, 1940, from the city of Newport Beach, a Municipal
Corporation, to Ruby Suman, a single woman, granting to said Ruby
Suman all that certain real property situated in the city of
NewportBeach, County of Orange, State of California, and more
particularly described as follows:
Lot 10 in Block 438 of Corona Del Mar, as per
map recorded in Book 3, pages 41 and 42 of
Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said County,
was presented to the City Council of the city of Newport Beach;
WHEREAS, the City Council deems that the consideration
offered for said Grant Deed is fair, gust and adequate and not
disproportionate to the actual value of said property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
deems that it is for the beat interests of said City that said
Grant Deed be executed in favor of Ruby Suman by the Mayor and
City Clerk of said city.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and
City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby
directed, authorized and instructed to execute said Grant Deed
on behalf of the city of Newport Beach, and the City Clerk is
instructed to deliver the same to Ruby Suman.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the city of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
26 5th day of February, 1940, by the following te, to wit:
