VIHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
.

Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain contract wherein
4
the City of Newport Beach is designated as the party of the firs
5
part, and E. V. S. P011EROY, is designated as the party of the
6
second part; and
7
VUREAS, said contract provides that the party of the
8
first part will furnish to the party of the second part all
9
garbage which may from time to time be collected by the Super -
10
intendent of Streets of said city, from the various residences
11
and business houses within said city, to be disposed of by
12
second party as in said contract set forth; and
13
17HEREAS, said contract provides for the term, consider
14
ation and conditions for which the same is to be given; and
15
PIHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
16
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
17
contract be executed.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED# That the Mayor and
19
City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are heroby
20
authorized and directed to execute said contract on behalf of
21
the City of Newport Beach, and that a duly executed cop; of said
22
contract be delivered forth with to the party of the second part
23

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing
25
resolution was duly and regularly passed by the City Council of
26
the City of Newport Beach, at a rs -ular meeting thereof held on
27
the lot day of April, 19400 by the following vote, to -writ;
