1 RESOLUTION NO.

311 WHEREAS, Claudina M. Gordon, a married woman, has
4 offered to the city of Newport Beach, a Municipal corporation,
5 the sum of One Hundred Dollars (x$100.00) and a certain lot in
611 the city of Newport Beach, Orange County, California, described
7 as Lot 3, Block 440, Corona Del Mar, as shown on a Map recorded
8 in Book 3, pages 41 and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of
9 Orange County, California, for that certain real property
10 situated in the city of Newport Beach, County of Orange,State of
11 California, and more particularly described as follows, to —wit:
12 Lot Ten (10), Block 332, Corona Del Mai',
as shown on amap recorded in Book 3, pages
13 41 and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records
of Orange County, California,
14 And WHEREAS, the consideration offered for said real
15 property is in the opinion of the City Council of the city of
16 Newport Beach, just, fair and adequate and not disproportionate
17 to the actual market value of said real property; and
18 WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be for the
19 best interests and benefit of said city that said real property
20 proposed to be sold to the said Claudina M. Gordon be disposed
21 of for the consideration herein mentioned.
22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor an d
23 City Clerk of the city of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby
24 directed, instructed and authorized to execute said deed
25 in the name of and on behalf of the city of Newport Beach.
26 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
27 was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the city council of
28= the city of Newport Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof
29 held on the 15th day of April, 1940, by the fo, owing vote, to —wit:
