GRIER and MARTHA SANSON GRIER, and wife, have this day offered to the DITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of $350.00 for the Westerly 55 feet of Lot 12, Block 16, Section 3, Balboa Island, in the city of Newport Beach, as shown on Map recorded in Book 7, page 15 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; and WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price as and for the purchase price of said lot; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said property be sold for the said sum of $350.00; and WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate is not disproportionate to the real value of the property e described. 16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property 17 be sold to the said MILTON S. GRIER and MARTHA SANSON GRIER, husbi 18 and wife, for the sum df $350.00; free and clear of all encumbran, 19 subject to the taxes for the fiscal year 1940 -41 and unpaid 20 limprovement assessments of record. Also subject to conditions, 21 estrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor and the City 22 lerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver 23 deed for said property to the said parties upon receipt of the 24 onsideration above set forth. 25 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $35.00 be paid 26 o A. H. Pease, as and for his commission for the negotiating of 27 he sale of said real property to Milton S.
