WHEREAS, a certain Quitclaim Deed dated the 3rd day of June, 1940,

from the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, a Municipal Corporation of the sixth class,
3
to C. R. DOUGLAS and DOROTHY DOUGLAS, husband and wife, quitclaiming, releasing
4
and remising to the said C. R. DOUGLAS and DOROTHY DOUGLAS, all that certain
5
real property situated in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State
6
of California, and more particularly described as follows:

Lot 365, Tract No. 907, as shown on a Map recorded
8
in Book 28, pages 25 to 36 inc., of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California,
9
was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach; and
10
WHEREAS, the City Council deems that the consideration offered for
11
said quitclaim Deed is fair, just and adequate and not disproportionate to the
12
actual value of the interest which the City of Newport Beach has in and to
13
said property; and
14
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach deems that it
15
is for the best interests of said city of Newport Beach that said Quitclaim
16
Deed be executed in favor of C. R. Douglas and Dorothy Douglas, by the Mayor
17
and City Clerk of said City.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City Clerk of the
19
City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby directed and authorised to
20
execute said quitclaim deed on behalf of the City of Newport Beach, and the
21
City Clerk is instructed to deliver the same to C. R. Douglas and Dorothy
22
Douglas.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution was duly

and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport
25
Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on June 3, 1940 by the following
26
