RESOLUTION NO. � ^
WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
Council ofthe city of Newport Beach a certain License Agreement
by and between the City of Newport Beach as the party of the
first part and E. G. Greeley of Newport Beach, California,therein
referred to as the party of the second part; and
WHEREAS, said license provides that the first party grants
to the party of the second part a license to operate and conduct
the City Dump Grounds upon certain conditions and specifications
set forth in said agreement, and for the time specified therein;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Newport Beach
deems that it is for the best interests of the City of Newport
Beach that said license be granted upon the terms and conditions
therein specified.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said contract be and
the same is hereby approved as written by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach, and the Mayor and City Clerk of said city
shall, and they are hereby authorized, directed and instructed
to sign and execute said contract on behalf of said City,
and the Clerk is directed to have the party of the second part
execute said contract within two days after the date hereof, and
the said contract shall thereupon be filed and become a valid
contract as between said parties.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly passed by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof held on the 17th day
of June- 1940, by the following vo to —wit:
