RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the city of Newport Beach a certain agreement between
the city of Newport Beach as party of the first part, and
C. W. HYDE, Jr., therein referred to as the party of the second
part; and
WHEREAS, said agreement provides that the first party
accepts the proposal of the party of the second part, wherein
the second party agrees to complete all details in connection
with the purchase by the first part of all available lots within
the city of Newport Beach which are now more than five years tax
deligquent and hve been deeded to the State of California, under
Section 3897d of the Political Code, upon the terms and conditions
in said agreement specifically set forth; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Newport Beach
deems that it is for the advantage and best interests of said
City of Newport Beach that said agreement be entered into with
the said party of the second part.
NOVI, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City
Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby
directed, instructed and authorized to execute said Agreement
in the name of and on behalf of the city of Newport Beach.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly passed and adopted by the city Council of the city
of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 1st day
of July, 1940, by the following vote, -Witt
