RESOLUTION NO. Ij OJ
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH APPROVING MEMORANDUN OF
AGREEMENT FOR EXPENDITURE OF 1/4 CENT GAS
TAX ALLOCATED FOR STREETS OF MAJOR IMPORTANCE.
5 WHEREAS, the State of California, through its Depart -
6 ment of Public Works, Division of Highways, has presented a
7 memorandum of agreement in accordance with a project statement
8 submitted by the City for expenditure of the 1/4 cent gas tax
9 for the fiscal year 1941 allocated for streets of major importance
10 other than State highways in the City of Newport Beach; and
11 WHEREAS, the City Council has heard read said agree -
12 I ment in full and is familiar with the contents thereof, and
13 desires to approve the same;
14 THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
15 City of Newport Beach that said agreement for expenditure of
16 1/4 cent gas tax allocated for streets of major importance
17 other than State highways be and the same is hereby approved
18 and the Mayor and City Clerk are directed to sign the same on
19 behalf of said City.
